Salon Maryam has been a Chestnut Hill staple for over 35 years. Formerly known as Norio of Tokyo, the salon was passed to Maryam — Norio’s longtime mentee and business partner — and remains a neighborhood favorite for expert cuts, color, and styling in a beautiful, welcoming space.
Maryam trained under Norio and spent years working alongside him before taking the reins of the salon herself. That heritage shapes everything here — a quiet attention to detail, a respect for each client’s natural hair, and the belief that a great cut or color should feel effortless to wear every day.
